The Development History of Butterfly Valve

Image
In the 1930s, the United States invented the butterfly valve . It was introduced to Japan in the 1950s, and it was only widely used in Japan in the 1960s. However, it was promoted in China after the 1970s. In the world, gate valves generally above DN300 mm have been replaced by butterfly valves. Compared with the gate valve, the butterfly valve has the advantages of short opening and closing time, small operation moment, small installation space and light weight.Compared with gate valves, butterfly valves have short opening and closing time, small operating torque, small installation space and light weight. The disadvantage of the rubber soft-seal butterfly valve is that when used for throttling, cavitation will occur due to improper use, causing the rubber seat to peel off and damage. Therefore, metal hard-sealed butterfly valves have been developed internationally, and the cavitation area has been reduced. In recent years, China has also developed metal hard-sealed butterfly valves. ...

The Working Principle of Butterfly Valve

The butterfly valve is a valve that uses a circular butterfly plate as a switch part and rotates with the valve stem to open, close and adjust the fluid passage. The butterfly plate of the butterfly valve is installed in the direction of the pipe diameter. The butterfly plate rotates around the high pressure, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When the rotation reaches 90°, the valve is in a fully open state. Generally, the life of the seal seat is 15-20 years for rubber and 80-90 years for metal under normal conditions. However, the correct selection depends on the requirements of the working conditions. The relationship between the opening of the butterfly valve and the flow rate basically changes linearly. If it is used to control flow, its flow characteristics are also closely related to the flow resistance of the piping. For example, two pipelines are installed with the same valve diameter and form, but the pipeline loss coefficient is different, the flow rate of the v...

Hydraulic Control Valve

Image
Hydraulic Control Valve KXC   Hydraulic control valves  are used to contain and transfer the flow and pressure of hydraulic fluid in hydraulic systems. There are many different designs hydraulic control valves , including check, cartridge, directional, relief, safety, shut off and solenoid valves. Hydraulic control valves come in a variety of sizes and pressure ratings. In an open position, hydraulic valves  permit the flow of fluid; when in a closed position, they prevent flow. Hydraulic control valves are used to prevent improper levels of pressure and fluid in hydraulic systems. The basic mechanics of all hydraulic control valves essentially remains the same; each is usually cylindrical and occasionally contained in a small square-shaped house, placed at the mouth of a pipe or on the head of a pump and contains a seat in the opening that cradles the plunger that may be a variety of shapes and sizes. These various styles are mass produced in general cavity sizes, as wel...

Ductile Iron Check Valve

Image
Ductile Iron Check Valve Check Valve Features Small in size, light in weight, compact in structure and easy in maintenance. Two torsion springs are exerted on each of the valve discs, which close the discs quickly and automatically. The quick-close action prevents the medium from flowing back and eliminates water hammer effect. The valve is short in length, so that it is rigid and easy to install. The valve is tightly sealed with no leakage. The valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically in the piping system. Check Valve Specifications : Size:DN50-DN300 Pressure: PN16 Standard: DIN 2501 PN6/10/16, BS5155 More information about KXC Check Valve  please click here

Flanged WCB Ball Valve

Image
Flanged WCB Ball Valve KXC ball valve  is a shut off valve that controls the flow of a liquid or gas by means of a rotary ball having a bore. By rotating the ball a quarter turn (90 degrees) around its axis, the medium can flow through or is blocked. They are characterized by a long service life and provide a reliable sealing over the life span, even when the valve is not in use for a long time. Flanged ball valves  are characterized by their connection type. The ports are connected to a piping system via flanges that are usually designed in accordance with a certain standard. These valves provide a high flow rate since they typically have a full-bore design. When choosing a flanged ball valve, besides the pressure rating, you also have to check the flange compression class which indicates the highest pressure this connection type can withstand. Thread Globe Valve

Image
Thread Globe Valve KXC Globe valves  is a linear motion valve and are primarily designed to stop, start and regulate flow. The disk of a Globe valve can be totally removed from the flowpath. Conventional Globe valves may be used for isolation and throttling services. Although these valves exhibit slightly higher pressure drops than straight through valves (e.g., gate, plug, ball, etc.), they may be used where the pressure drop through the valve is not a controlling factor. A globe valve, different from ball valve, is a type of valve  used for regulating flow in a pipeline, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a generally spherical body. Bellows Globe Valve

Image
Bellows Globe Valve KXC bellow seal valve  has a compact structure and is one kind of control valve to balance the pressure. Bellows are used as the valve stem sealing components of the bellow seal valves. To avoid the leakage of the valve stem, the valve adopts the structure with bellows instead of stuffing boxes generally used for the ordinary valve or the structure with both bellows and stuffing boxes. The bellow seal valve is particularly suitable for pipelines of steam and flammable, explosive and hazardous media. Moreover, because of bellow's properties of deformation and aging resistance, the bellow seal valve overcomes the common latent defects, including temperature sensitivity and the aging of the stuffing box, and these defects are owned by the valve sealed by packing. KXC bellow globe valve  is operated as an obstruction between fluids and the air. At the same time, the valve can prevent fluids leaking to the air and guarantee zero leakage of pipelines.
